β β β β β My son's 7th birthday was a complete DISASTER. First, the "scientist" arrives 15 minutes late and, with my help, takes 15 minutes to set-up, while 20 screaming, impatient kids don't know what to do with themselves. Second, only 1 out 5 experiments worked due to a variety of reasons ranging from missing ingredients to faulty equipment to an incompetent "scientist," who was so frazzled and overwhelmed that she finally admitted to never having done a birthday party before. Third, for the one experiment that did work, no explanation was ever given so that the kids could actually learn the scientific processes involved. Finally, my attempts of getting a hold of anyone at the company for an explanation have been in total vain. As the birthday boy himself put it "this is a really boring party." In the end, my husband had to engage the kids and play circle games for an hour till the party was finally over. Simply put, this company ruined my son's birthday.
