First time adventuring to the falls via kayak, one small portage but we shot the rapids on the way back downstream!

Loved this hike although it is super muddy in parts. Fun time crossing over creeks via logs and the falls at the end destination do not disappoint. Bugs / deer flies are not as bas on this trail as other wet hikes we’d been on just days before. Lots of campers along the trail on weekends.

Rugged walk, but worth it to see the falls! Wear waterproof shoes and bring a walking stick!

An Autumn hike to the falls never fails to disappoint! Lots of colour change on the trees and not many bugs! About a 2.5km bike from the parking lot to the falls. Make sure to have waterproof hikers!

Take water! It's gorgeous but it's definitely a hike not just path ways it's hiking. Gorgeous spot thankful it's so close to home.

A spectacular roaring raging thundering falls! However, you literally have to walk through the Lord of the Rings ' dead muddy marshes, the rocky ridges of the Rohan, and knotty rooty pathways of Hobbit town. This is no hike for the faint of heart. Thank goodness for the people who marked the path to find it or you'd surely get lost. However, the trail is only marked out half way so good good luck the rest of the way. I'm thankful for my Alltrails app or I would not have made it back. Wear good water proof hiking boots. Google maps does not take you there. It's farther up the road just over a bridge. There are no signs but you will see the parking lot up a hill on the left side of the road. One last thing...you have to cross a river with loosely placed logs to start the journey and Arwen the Royal maiden won't be there to help you! I went once in the winter and two wolves met me in the parking lot at the Garbage bin. I never made it to the falls twice but this time I did, thanks to the new markers on the trees. :) Good luck! It's beautiful.
