The 9 Finger Ranch, a family-owned working cattle ranch close to Rossburn (Manitoba), is located on the Western end of Riding Mountain National Park. We offer affordable accommodation with two fully-equipped cabins for up to 10 people each and guided trail rides on the ranch property and in the national park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to #staycation 2020 @ 9fingersranch with our three kids and their grandparents. We did a 2 hour buckaroo ride and an all day 6 hour ride the next day. SO WORTH IT! Tom and Val are awesome guides, Ilse is a wonderful cook and the horses are exceptionally well trained and lovely (ps. I'm in love with King). If you're thinking about it...you should!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honest review: the staff weren’t very welcoming and the horse I was riding was really tired so I felt bad for making him work more. The ride around the ranch was very beautiful but I definitely could’ve had a better experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my little girls here for their first horseback ride and the smiles never left their faces. The guides were friendly and the horses very gentle and well mannered.
We will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I always wanted to go horseback riding but never booked it. I figured what better place to go in Manitoba than in riding mountain ! We did the 2 hour jumpstart ride. I had king (you can very easily be attached to that big guy) and my boyfriend had Cheif who loved to him eat on our trail ! Very well trained horses, made me miss horseback riding so much. The man who took us was very nice, relaxed and easy to talk to. I would love to go for a 4 hour but I’m afraid I won’t last that long I was quite a bit sore after the 2 hour. But I highly recommend going ! Riding mountain is gorgeous and It was even better to see a small portion on horseback.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a 4 hour horseback ride with this family owned ranch.A picnic lunch is included. I informed them of my gluten allergy and they took care it. Even shared their gf cookie recipe with us. Great people, and the horses were wonderful too. The ride was awesome. Will most likely book another one in the future. Highly recommend if you are interested in a great trail ride.
