Products are nice and well made. When there are issues with the products, customer service is lacking. Beware that their website reviews are groomed and negative ones are not published. I guess reviews that are negative if their customer service do not meet their website guidelines. Again products are good, just when there are issues you will be disappointed.

Herschel Supply Co Will not sell me the matching strapping material for my Turquoise City Bag. Customer Service instead sent me a link for heavy black strapping material sold on Amazon. Sorry the black does not go with the turquoise and medium brown leather front closure. Poor customer service. Lucky to get one star!

I have been trying to order a hip pack for 2 months (black) always out of stock. I finally place my order last night transaction goes through only to receive an email today telling me they can’t fill my order and a refund will be processed within 5 days. What? The kicker is when I ordered it stated that inventory was currently at 8 remaining, funny I went online after I received the email and it stated 2 currently available. How do you run a company that can’t produce inventory, I don’t understand? This is the reason Target didn’t make it in Canada. Is anyone in the same boat???

One star is really pushing it. I first emailed customer service... no reply. So I decided to call in, the agent over the phone said I could bring the bag to a store to do an exchange (I also mentioned the bag is an online purchased) . I drove to the store solely just to do this exchange, but the salesperson told me I was not able to do so because it was an online purchase. It’s frustrating to know that their policy is inconsistent and that I wasted my time! I was gifted two bags, that will now be in the trash can as I would not wear merchandise from a company that doesn’t have any integrity.

I recently bought a duffle bag off their website and when it arrived it had a stain on one side. I emailed customer service and they replied very fast, and we decided to get the defect bag returned and they sent me a new one. The new bag came within 5 days! I’m very happy with the way customer service handled this damaged product and my new duffle bag is wonderful. I will continue to buy from Herschel in the future!

Bought a wallet, among many other things like a backpack, duffle bag, fanny pack, etc. The colour on the reflective Roy Wallet started to come off after only one week of normal use. Now after a couple months the wallet is a complete embarrassment to use, colour rubbed off everywhere. I emailed customer service a couple weeks after purchasing it. The got back to me after a month! They detailed a replacement plan for me. I replied back a day after, it's been 2 months and no replacement or replies to my 6 follow up emails. I also tried calling a couple times with no answer. What kind of business is this? I try to support Canadian companies but it's hard to when they treat their customers this way. AVOID HERSCHEL!

Herschel's customer service is one of the worst I've encountered. I had the bad experience of filing a claim with them and the instructions are very ambiguous and hard to follow. I hope other customers would have a better experience.

I was really disappointed with my overall experience purchasing from them. I found the description of their face mask to be promising more than what the product actually was. When I contacted them to try to find a win win solution without having to write a negative review, I found their customer service really disappointing. To me if felt like they were more focused on trying to avoid responsibility for the issues rather than focusing on serving their customers. Their face mask was also on the more expensive end of the range. If they had delivered well I would have had no problem paying that price, but it ended up just adding to my disappointment. I wish this company the best of luck in improving the experience of future customers. We are all human and a work in progress after all. :)
