About Heritage Steelworks
Heritage Steelworks has become known for their high-quality workmanship, integrity, and innovative ‘can do’ attitude – an attitude that’s been developed through hard work and years of experience.
Heritage Steelworks began as Blue Ridge Enterprises in Blumenort. Elden Penner started welding as a teenager on the farm and became well known amongst his neighbours as a very good welder! After many good years of farming, he switched to welding for Blue Ridge Enterprises, and eventually managing the shop for 5+ years.
In 2017, Elden and his son Corey decided to purchase the business, and changed the name to Heritage Steelworks.
Today, Heritage Steelworks is a third-generation family business with Corey’s two sons helping out at the shop. In addition to the Penner family, Heritage Steelworks is blessed to have an extremely talented team of specialists including Claus, a Machinist and Wilhelm, a Manufacturing Expert, each with 30+ years of experience.
