★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never feel rushed for a haircut, they take their time. to cut your hair. I’ve gotten my hair cut by a few barbers here and they are all consistent. Not one haircut has been bad. I’ve always had a great haircut from the shop. Prices are a bit on the more expensive side, but you get excellent service in return! This place strives on providing an excellent customer experience! I never feel out of place coming to Hendry’s or Architect. I’ve been to some barbershops in Hamilton area where they don’t take the time to get to know their customers. This isn’t one of them! Each barber takes the time to get to know you. Keep up the consistency and excellent work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, today was my first haircut in a long time. I decided to check out Hendry’s since it’s close to home. I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door. Hendry’s has a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere with a vintage vibe. The decor is fascinating to say the least. Today I had the great pleasure of being Jackie’s client. I struggled to explain what I wanted, but Jackie figured it out. She knew what I wanted even before I did! It’s the best haircut I’ve had in a very long time. Hendry’s will be my go-to for the foreseeable future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consistently great staff both behind the bar and, more importantly, behind the barber’s chair. I’m a fan of the “whoever’s available” button, and I’ve yet to regret it.
A truly great place, and a Hamilton staple with historic value and context. Nothing but good things to say after 4 visits with 4 different stylists.
If you’re on the fence, just give it a go, you’re unlikely to regret it.
Great styling products to boot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly staff and a beautiful space. Had Jackie as my barber and am super happy with the cut. Gave great suggestions for what I could do with my hair (have been looking for a change in style) and had nice conversation. Can’t wait to go back when the bar re-opens and have a cut, shave and beer.
