Great store and clothing is great quality. Callum, Eilley and Loveisa are really helpful and knowledgable. I'll definately be shopping here again!

Great clothing and amazing product. Also there warranty policy is second to none. The staff also seem to be well educated on their mountain gear and the technicalities of the product. Also there are 2 stores in the village close to each other for convenience.

I purchased a jacket for my 13 year son but forgot to ask for the PST exemption. The staff was very helpful and re-processed the transaction to take out the tax. But he only managed to take out the 5% GST rather than the 7% PST. He called the manager and she come in from a nearby store about 10 minutes later. When she arrived, she did not greet me and headed straight to the computer. She attempted to reprocess the transaction and come up with the same amount charging PST. I explained to her that it should be PST exempt and not GST exempt. She claimed that this is Helly Hansen's system and there is nothing she can do about it. I told her that is fine since it is only a few dollar difference but she should get this right for future customers. She then told me that no other customer had ever brought this up. She told her associate to finish up the purchase and stormed off out of the store without saying anything to me. As a paying customer, I wasted an extra 20 minutes being treated like this is not a shopping experience that I want to go through again especially on vacation. And I hope other shoppers do not have to experience this. The 1 Star is for the friendly associate who helped us in the first place.

Went it today to buy a snow pant. Lady on the cashier area was very rude and not accommodating. Very disappointing.

I hate to leave one star because I have loved Helly Hansen my entire life but when I went in to this location, the staff member who spoke to me was extremely rude and condescending. Apparently they are doing absolutely no repair service at the moment since they must be sent to a specific person the island, it would take 4 MONTHS to get my rain jacket looked at (which is fine, I don’t need it in the winter anyways). Also there would be NO GUARANTEE they would even be able to fix it. I thought they had warranty but apparently not. I asked how much the service would be and she told me she didn’t know and to walk to the other location and ask them. I asked if she would call and ask or if she had any other advice and received a curt β€œno”. She was unapologetic and almost annoyed at me for asking how to save my beloved coat. I have temporarily fixed it for myself for $12 and will definitely be considering another company for my next outerwear purchase. Shame on you guys. In a resort town like Whistler, there is no excuse for this kind of customer service.
