β β β β β I did my wedding reception here and my guests were stunned by the rustic scenery of the interior and exterior of the place. The staff are very friendly and there's enough parking spots for the amount of guests you're limited to by fire code (100 people). You're limited in how much you can decorate but less is better for us because we already like the rustic view of the place.

β β β β β Lovely venue; perfect for weddings, meetings, conferences. Plenty of parking spaces. A large main room, huge kitchen, several side rooms and a large commercial fridge to use. Several single bathrooms. They will set up your tables and chairs however you would like and they have a screen for your PowerPoint, bring your own projector. We had 9 round tables with 6-8 staff sitting at each one and very comfortable with plenty of space. We opted for a potluck and so Joe had set up tables in one of the side rooms for people to set up the food. Joe is there on hand to let you in and he helped us immensely. Markham has a very different way of recycling so he was on hand to explain it to everyone. We will definitely use this location again.

β β β β β Used this venue for my daughter's wedding! Absolutely loved it. The staff we very accommodating and even with a few misunderstandings they helped correct it. Would recommend this to everyone! Very affordable price and they supply the tables and chairs and flatware and dishes. Perfect from The bridal and grooms suites to the lounge and bar room ! Couldn't ask for anything better! Not to mention the gardens!

β β β β β Beautiful heritage building, well maintained inside and outside, is a great venue for small (up to 100 ppl) gatherings.
The area I loved the most was their solarium, which not only brightens the place but also gives great views of the garden.
Would strongly recommend for smaller gatherings/functions.

β β β β β Such a beautiful heritage house and the grounds are lovely and welcoming! Walking on the grass is encouraged! Loads of parking and room to wander, there are picnic tables in the back garden.

β β β β β Attended a morning wedding ceremony at the Heintzman house. And this house is such an inspiration, warm, felt like an old heritage family home. Had rooms for the bride and her maid's and commercial kitchen and enough car parking for all the guests. Amazing and highly recommend.

β β β β β Had my wedding at Heintzman. Was a great small venue for our 110 guests. The bridal suite is stunning, we even did some photos in there. The house is able to accommodate 113 but it is tight, however doable. Our caterer was Food For Thought, which was 10/10 delicious. The staff at the City of Markham was very helpful during the wedding planning process, and always quick to respond to my hundreds of emails. I would definitely recommend this as a wedding venue for someone looking for a more intimate, classic feel.
