Beautiful park for a walk, with great amenities for your dog friend. Despite visiting on a Saturday afternoon, the parking lot had plenty of open spaces. Right at the main lot on the north side, there is a nicely maintained dog park, with sections to separate big and small dogs, ensuring every pup has a good time. The park itself is beautiful, with nice trails and a variety of options for easy short walks to technical hilly hikes. Now that the 412 is toll-free, it's fast and easy to get to. I'll definitely be back for more time at the Heber Down.

$6 paid parking but I parked by the dog park which didn’t have a parking meter (maybe due to construction in that area). So to avoid $6 parking, you can consider parking by the dog park but check for signs in case things have changed since I was last there. There were lots of cars parking there but there were enough people leaving throughout the day for us to find parking easily. The trails were pretty easy, not all paved though. Some have pebbles on the floor and can get muddy at times if there was recent rainfall (at least on the devils trail, which was the one I did)x There are a few slight hills but nothing too difficult for the regular semi-fit person.

Great trail for all seasons. Not all trails are clear or maintenaned during winter. Have to pay for parking, unless you want to park on the road and take the risk of getting a ticket which will cost you more than the parking fee at the trail

It is a vast park with beautiful trails and an off leash area, with separate zones for bigger dogs and another for smaller dogs. Paid parking that could an annual charge if you'd like and you'd be help towards the conservation of the park.

I love this area for hiking!! There is a $6 parking fee (which it seems a lot of people ignore) but the money goes back into the conservation so its well worth it. The hike we went on was mostly easy going and wide, well maintained paths. There was one section with a HUGE staircase so keep that in mind. Just beautiful!

Well groomed and marked trails, pretty easy hike. Gets a bit busy especially by the dog park.

Amazing park with asphalted trail that is convenient to bike or walk with your dogs. Enjoyed the walk today and definitely will make that part of my weekly routine.
