Heating and Cooling Doctor Ltd

I got my AC installed by these guys a few months back. They did a fantastic job and I have been recommending them to others ever since.

I got a garage heater installed by this company during fall of 2020. First of all, don't go by the pics they have on Kijiji. Garage heater they show with aluminum channel and ready rod, you are not going to get that. They started hanging heater with 1/16" cables and that too with more than 45 degree angle on them to screw onto studs. I had to get that corrected so the load on cable is straight. And instead of using a channel at an angle, they used wood. For thermostat wiring which is maybe 1/4" in thickness, they used 1" clamps at eye level. I had to secure it myself with smaller clamps right against the ceiling. I had to provide some of the tooling to do the job. Contract was signed with gas and electrical permit, but they never pulled permits for the job. I am going to take it to small claims court now. Before I paid for the job I asked for permits and Raman (owner) said that he will apply for that in a day or two, and I can hold only $200 for it. After I paid for this job, he stopped answering my phone calls, text and didn't reply to my voicemails but I was able to get a hold of him when I called from a different phone, but he hung up. There was a gas leak just after the installation which I asked him to check over the text and voicemail, but no reply. You would be better off paying few dollars more and going with another company. I will see him at small claims court again as he still won't answer my calls.

My garage heater wasn't working and the company i called before was asking an absurd price. My cousin suggested me to call Raman who was very helpful and friendly. He gave me a very reasonable price and got the job done the same day. I dont normally leave reviews but the guy was a gem.

I see a lot of fake reviews here. All within a month or two. How about you take responsibility and respond to people who have issues with your work and get that resolved? Instead of completely ignoring their phone calls after taking their hard earned money.

Roman was great to deal with. Came on time as promised. Price was fair, and new furnace was installed quickly. They cleaned up the work area. I would recommend his without hesitation.

Great service! Had a hard time dealing with a different company. These guys came and diagnosed the problem. Turned out the repair would cost as much as a new install. They upgraded my furnace and also my thermostat. Explained usage and things to look for. We also ended up getting a great deal on a maintenance package. Overall very pleased!
