Healing Bliss Botanical’s deodorant is top notch, but the service is the pits. I’ve been a devout mainland user of Dana’s deodorant since I first met her at the Comox Farmer’s Market in 2016. Her deodorant is the best. Seriously. I stock up when I visit the island, having even missed a ferry to my fix. Due to travel restrictions this past year, I haven’t been able to refill my supplies. Tired of waiting, I finally decided to place an order online. When I went to place the order, the website was down. I sent a private message through Healing Bliss Botanicals Facebook page, letting Dana know that her website was down in case she wasn’t aware, and that I would check back in later and submit the order once it was up and running again. Rather than waiting, Dana gave me the option of placing the order through Facebook Messenger and paying via E-Transfer. I went with it. I placed the order and paid on a Thursday, was told that it would ship either the next day or the following Monday, and I would receive a tracking number once it was in the mail. I did not receive a tracking number, and after 10 days I sent a message asking for an update. The message was opened without reply. I inquired again a week later. This message was also opened without reply. More time went by without sign of my purchase or correspondence, so I called Dana directly and left a voicemail. No reply. I contacted Dana a fourth time, over a month after placing the order, and asked for a refund and provided proof of payment. This message was not opened. Long story short: always pay with a credit card.

I have been a huge supporter and fan of the Healing Bliss products for so long, perhaps a decade. I have been so disappointed this last time I ordered by purchasing and not receiving my products. I keep getting promises that Dana will send the order but it has been 4 months. I held out hope for a long time. This is the only product that helps my skin, so I had to drive 3 hours to go purchase it from Edible Island and I still have to fight to get my $84 reimbursed now. I love the products but the customer service is terrible. PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE ANYTHING ONLINE FROM DANA, or if you do, don't expect to get it or you will feel terribly disappointed when you don't. I have tried calling, messaging, going through friends, I have been absolutely empathetic, kind, compassionate, respectful and hopeful, and I am so let down by her business practices. Hoping I get reimbursed. Don't be fooled like I did by online ordering. Dana, if you see this, please do the right thing and reimburse me!
