Hawk Lake Lodge is an awesome place to visit! The fishing is incredible… trophy walleyes and smallmouth every day for us, including small children. The owners and staff were the best we have ever been around (and I have been to dozens of lodges and resorts in Canada). The boats, electronics, etc. were excellent. The food and drink was out of this world as well! We will be coming back many more times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner was rude, had live minnows but wouldn't give us any. I believe because we were Canadian we were treated so poorly. Charged us in American dollars cash and charged HST on top of that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad experience. During COVID the lodge rolled my deposit to 2021, which was the right thing to do. Scheduled a trip for early September this year but half our family could not get passports back from the government due to “historic” delays in the renewal process. With reptilian empathy, I was told we had plenty of time for renewal, deposit taken. Not the right thing to do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best lodges I have ever had the pleasure to fish at. The ownership (Ted) is top notch and truly caters to your every need while providing uncanny knowledge of every lake (and every fish within that lake). During my trip we tried multiple lakes and brought in trophy size fish of every species... it was incredible. The food was wonderful and the pre-dinner social time swapping fish stories with other folks really rounded out the experience.
