Greg and his team at Hasler Homes Ltd. built our North Vancouver house, after we unbuilt the old house on site (recovering and recycling most of it). We are extremely happy with our new home! Working with Hasler Homes Ltd was one of the best decisions we made in the process of building our house. Our goal was to achieve a practical, beautiful and efficient house. Greg’s ability to work with different professionals across all the skilled trades and disciplines made the process go smoothly. Equally important were Greg’s recommendations based on his previous experience. The work with the District of North Vancouver was handled efficiently to have inspections done on a timely basis to keep the project on track Greg paid attention to every detail from start to finish. Different options were presented to us with the pros and cons of each one explained to us. Good building practices were implemented, and the different trades were coordinated in an orderly way to move the project along. Our calls and questions throughout were answered in a prompt and decisive way. Brady joined the team during the project and became a great addition, solving the issues that arose in the latter stages and after moving in. Natalie prepared our reports on a timely basis and clarified our doubts if any. Hasler Homes Ltd’s crew were positive, knowledgeable, and hard working. During construction, Hasler Homes Ltd even hosted a Green Built event on site to showcase to other constructors, designers and architects, measures taken to achieve the Green Build Platinum status. These features were only visible before the indoor walls were closed. Even though a pandemic hit during the last stages, work continued in an orderly and safe fashion. As the project progressed and selections were made in the most efficient way, Hasler Homes Ltd realized that we could achieve a Net Zero designation. We were able to achieve the designation with some additional measures and his help in developing the necessary paperwork! The end result is a practical, beautiful and super efficient house!
