★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing fishing resort. The owners are great, friendly and helpful. It’s like a big family here with very long time returning guests from both sides of the border.
HBR is not in Ignace, even tho google maps says it is. It’s 72 kms up # 599 out of Ignace. Well worth the drive to get here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy access via car - close enough to the highway to be convenient, but far enough to still be quiet. Bait and convenience stores are close by. Lodge has a good boat ramp, free fish cleaning house (and free freezer space for customers). It has excellent comfortable accommodations with running water, air conditioning, and many other modern amenities unavailable in other resorts. Most all cabins/camp sites have good view of the lake too, with beautiful sunsets right out the living room window. Owned and run by the nicest hosts who do everything they can to make your stay memorable. I have been going there for many years and would recommend them to anyone!
