★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We regularly visit Harmony Beach for the sunsets and sand beach. The restaurant is a family run business that's a favourite with locals when the smelt run is on. We went for supper last night so we could watch the sunset over Lake Superior. We were very pleased with the view, our friendly waitress and the quality of our food, and how fast it came to us. The local whitefish dinner and burger/fries were delicious. The prices are very reasonable. It's literally a minute off the highway and a good place to stop if you are travelling. They have a large patio if you visit in summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed .... other than a beautiful beach, exquisite sunsets, I felt unwelcomed and discriminated against. I was refused a fire pit after requesting a deck that enabled use of both doors (fire safety measure) All my attempts, suggestions and requests were abruptly answered with a “Not gonna happen”. We’ve since moved to A different campground and really look forward to camping again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best campground and restaurant I went to in all Ontario when I crossed Canada last summer. Cathy and the staff are amazing and very good people. The location is perfect, just across the street by the river. I felt like home for a night! Clearly a place to stop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! We cant thank Cathy and her family enough. We were looing for a place to stay overnight and due to the long weekend everything was booked but Cathy made a space for us and it was beautiful to wake up to see Lake Superior and spend time on the beach! Dog friendly, kid friendly, and during these uncertain times Cathy had maintained government standards to remain open and keep people safe. We would come back here when we cross Canada again. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the chance to sleep there last summer with a friend during our trip around the Canada. Cathy was very gentle with us and opened the kitchen to make us smething to eat. Me and my friend keep a very good memories of this place. The view is amazing , it's just beside a lake and the sunset are wonderful! I recommand you this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Harmony Beach Resort & Cathy & her brother that run it are the best!! First of all, location, location, location! This place is right across from beautiful Harmony Beach. If you don't need sewer hook ups, ask if there is a spot towards the front. We ended up situated next to the restaurant but right in front so that we had awesome beach/water views! We're from Oregon & the water was a little cold, even for us, but we jumped in anyway & it felt great! Friday nights they have their fish fry & it's fish, potatoes (a few diff ways) & salad bar. It's local, fresh white fish from Lake Superior that they get delivered every 3 days or so & it's sooo good! Every part of the meal was awesome. I believe its about 18.99$ at the moment & huge portions. You can eat at the restaurant whether you're staying there or not, but good to make reservations for those Fish Fry Fridays! This setting was the most peaceful, with the best location/views we've come across so far in Ontario! If you need a bathroom or shower stall, they have it. They aren't fancy but get the job done. If you're picky about bathrooms, I suggest using your own in your camper, or maybe taking lake showers, or just sucking it up because everything else about this place is the best & it's worth doing so!
Besides the awesome location & food, Cathy & her brother (gosh I wish I knew his name) are just the best. They really went above and beyond for us. They take care of you. ❤️
