Hargrave Place - Winnipeg

The building appears very nice at first, but the seams begin to show sooner or later. They seem to be constantly changing management, leaving someone even more flustered and behind on things in charge. The elevator service is deplorable more often than not. With about 30 floors and only one of three functioning elevators at points (and often expired permits to go with them), it makes for unrealistic waiting times. Maintenance is often lacking in other areas as well, and the overall design of the suites could be better. Not a bad place to live, but definitely not something you can call home.

Horrible management would not recommend living here, also they change the rent every month to be higher then the actually monthly rent Greedy ppl I gotta say Don't live here

I wouldn't even put one star. I tell all my friends to STAY AWAY. First off, the office staff and building manager are incompetent. They've proven several times they have no organization, they're unable to properly schedule important dates (elevator bookings, even forgot about our lease signing), They've lost paperwork as well. I tried to transfer over my lease, did it in front of the property manager and they STILL think I live there. Also, they keep harassing us for money we don't owe them (and change the owing amount everytime, either lowering it or raising it) moving days are hectic because they have no organization, which causes alot of fights and frustration among tenants. The building appears nice, the view is great from the higher floors. But over half the washers and dryers were broken and NEVER got fixed the entire time I lived there. The fire alarm went off several times a month and even the firefighters are tired of having to show up. People always smoke in the stair wells. The garage seemed secure but then before I moved out somebody kicked the door in. Sometimes our suite smelled like weed coming from other apartments. We also overheard management telling the maintenance guy to stop giving tenants lightbulbs when the ones in the suites burn out. There's a lawn area for pets out front which seems nice but always smells like pee. They also have ridiculous rent prices and they change it for every suite. Tenants sometimes pay more for a 1 bed 1 bath than for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Overall, super inconsistent, incompetent. Wouldn't wish this place on anyone.

Management was extremely courteous and helpful throughout the entire application process. After having been accepted, enjoy the area, the unit and the overall experience!

I’ve been living here for 2 years. I introduced this building to my friend. They promised that they were going to give each of us 400$ as refer bonus. But it seems that they will never give it to us as we reached out to them but never heard back... Dont trust them!

Awful place to live. The place is constantly in disrepair. Don't be fooled by the large windows and modern décor... Make sure you take tons of photos when you move in as Timbercreek will try to steal your damage deposit even if you have left the place in better condition than when you moved in.

Over the 7 years we have lived here, the building has seen many improvements. The elevators were renovated, the gym was updated with new equipment, key fob access was added to the parkade entrances, and a dog run/outdoor patio area was built. The staff are super friendly and LOVE dogs. Our 10-month old puppy always drags us into the office to get (at least) one treat from the Hazelview team. There’s a convenience store and a barber shop on the main floor and there are lots of great places only a walk away: Fete ice cream & coffee shop, The Forks, Osborne village, Bonnycastle park, and more.
