★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hit up this trail in the winter after a snowfall and it was so pretty! The name of the forest - Happy Valley - is definitely aptly named! :) We would love to come back and do the hike in the summertime to see a different scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful small trail, can be finished within 2 hours max. (Back and forth). We enjoyed the overall scenery and beautiful wild vegetation. There was no map at the entrance, but the trails are marked. So, thumbs up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed this trail for what it was - I thought there was more water to be found from pictures I had seen posted… I can only assume they were posting pictures of residents ponds on private property as the only water we found was a clear water sand bottom stream and the other stream was very mucky (which my dog loved). All in all, it was a very nice trail, and did have some steep climbs. I’d say it’s a worthwhile hike for exercise, nature, flowers, and critters (toads, chipmunks, etc) jumping around on the trails - but if you have a dog on a hot day make sure to bring them water as the two streams we found were only ankle deep. And not really inviting for a dog to drink from even when panting like crazy. I would still go back and bring water for my dog to spend a longer time here.
