★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Happy Rock is a statue of a giant rock with arms, legs, and a happy face. It's, appropriately, located at Gladstone, Manitoba. It's fun and silly. I like it. The flowers along the path are well watered and the grass is neatly mowed. My only disappointment was that the tourist information booth in the Rock wasn't open at about noon on a busy day in July.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a nice stop on the side of the road, especially if you like big roadside attractions. Site was clean and maintained.
Picnic tables, garbage and bottle recycling bins, washrooms located inside the happy rock (locked when we came in the off season).
Happy rock itself could use a spruce up, but sign on site says that is planned soon.
