This place is a hidden jem, I am surprised there is not more reviews. Although it does take time to write reviews. Since we so much enjoyed our 1 week at the camp, it would be selfish of me not to share... This is our 2nd time going back to this lodge/camp. We would have gone back in 2020 if it wasn't because of covid. Our first time in 2019, we camp out there. They have electricity, and hookups for campers. Shower and bathrooms for those who camp. Finally we were able to get a cabin this year (mind you they are very popular and you need to book it a year out). We got cabin 5, on the website it says sleep 4. We got it just for my husband and me. It's plenty big for us. Two bedrooms all with bunk with single over double. What I am impressed the most is the fully equipped kitchen. Two nice size cast iron pans, coffee percolator, toaster, stove with oven, all kitchen utensils, all size of baking pan, pie pan, loaf pan, casserole dishes, mixing bowls, all size pots and pans. Make sure you bring you own paper products (plate, paper towels, toilet papers, napkins). And food of course. There is also a nice bathroom with showers. (Bring your own bath towels and whatever towels you need). It's a great place for couples and family (they have cabines for 4 to 8 ppl). Each cabin has a grill and picnic table outside, chairs to sit on the porch and deck (depend on your cabines) We went there just for fishing. You can go anytime from spring to fall, different kind of fish to catch for different season. They also offer bear hunt, which my husband already planned on signing up. If you want your family or couples to grow closer while still doing fun things together, this is the place to go. No phone signal, no internet, no TV. Just being with each other. The lake is pretty big for exploring. We towed our boat up, but they also offer boat rental if you don't have. It's rustic enough yet with all the comfort as at home. It's a family run business. The owner Bob & Sondra & their son Dylan and his wife, Sam are such hard working people. They make sure their guests are well taken care of. We didn't catch much fish at the beginning as we didn't know where to go and not familiar with the lake. After speaking to Sondra, she guided us what jig to use and where and when to go. Bam... one after another one.
