Hamilton Medical Centre and Walk-In Clinic

I have been a walk in clinic patient for years and have only recieved professional and patient medical care from this clinic. I have always felt listened to and comfortable telling the Doctors my health issues. Thank you for your caring ways.

I had a wonderful experience when I first became a patient with your office, the staff was really friendly and quick to help. The original reception was amazing and always helping out when needed - I would have given them a 5 star prior to my recent experience. I can't share that same sentiment these last few months. I do work in the health care field and do understand the challenges that come along with the job. A coworker and I went in a few weeks ago, waiting in line with scheduled appointments and were seen after all the walk-ins. It has been challenging with front desk reception because things seem to be disorganized - never received a follow up when told I would. My 3 year old has been sick for the last few weeks and the over the phone consultation was never received as discussed with the receptionist. She is currently under antibiotics because her cough turned into an ear infection. I do not want to blame her condition on the clinic but preventative measures could have been taken earlier if things were followed through.

Added after owner response: Despite needing to see a doctor, I had the receptionist raise her voice at me and tell me it was my fault that I had found myself needing help on a weekend (needless to say it was not). She spoke loudly enough for the whole clinic to hear. And there is likely no record of my visiting because I had the clip board snatched out of my hand as I was about to fill it out. I hope this clarifies matters on your end. Original Review: Unfortunately I can’t recommend this clinic. Their receptionist seems intentionally rude, and could benefit from training.

Great clinic. Doctor is very down to earth and supportive of his patients. He is one of the most genuine doctors I have met and cares. I really hope they open up spots for family patients soon!

I also agree with others posted here, reception is fantastic! The doctor is an arrogant, egotistical man. First time going there he was rude when all i needed was a opinion. The second time coming i pulled in the wrong lane to park in the back and he blocked our car then proceeds chews us a new one even though its very tough to tell which is the proper way in. I do not reccomend and will tell others of my bad experience. I would like to be clear ive never been a patient but have been in twice so my account of this is accurate. His actions were very demeaning to not only myself but to my mother. I hope he does not speak like that to his own. Just shameful!

I’ll start off with the fact reception is amazing, very clear, respectful, and helpful at every interaction. Wish I could say the same for the Doctor here. I came for TB testing, did the testing as instructed, only to be refused proof of this testing months later because the doctor gave improper instructions/ did not follow up. Doctor then proceeded to argue with me about the instructions given to me when I tried to get confirmation of this testing. If you are a student on a timeline, I’d keep this in mind as I now have to start process again elsewhere.

We took our 2 years old son who had 29.5 ° c temperature. The poor boy was so annoyed with his situation and was only walking around us. The Angel Dr came out twice asking us to take care of our child ( apparently he knows nothing about children) without considering the suffering that we as parents and our son had went through due to his illness. That was the worst experience ever starting from the resptionest to that guy. We had to take our son to another city to see a nice doctor who took time with our son offering him entertainment stuff as she saw his situation. I don't recommend this specially for children as they are the least friendly people I've ever met. I wish there was a ZERO star rating or even less .

I've been three times as a walk in. First time was fine, no issues, Dr was nice. The second time was.. okay. He wasn't as friendly as I remembered but it was two years into the pandemic and it's been hard on everyone. He kept repeating the same information about my issue but wasn't answering my question about my specific problem and seemed irritated when I was hesitant to change my medication because I wasn't given an actual answer. I was sent for a blood test and told to go on an empty stomach, but the nurse who administered the test asked if I had eaten and said she didn't know why he'd tell me not to because it wouldn't have had any effect on the test. He also ordered a urine test at the same time and I did not know until the same nurse told me he requested one. That lack of communication on his part was very uncomfortable for such a test. When I brought up my issue the third visit I was told "I think it's this" but I'd like a better diagnosis than "I think", I asked to be re-referred to my former specialist (who needs re-referrals after two years), he finally said ok he'd refer me and then left to take care of other walk-in patients without even taking the doctor's name. I wrote the doctor's name on a random slip of paper from the receptionist (who was very nice) but I haven't heard anything almost a year later and I don't really have much confidence that I was referred at all. So, I don't know. It's been okay and it's been not okay. I'm hesitant to return but I still have two issues I've spoken to him about that haven't been resolved.
