★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would 100% not recommend Halo Safety Mangement. Hut8 Mining Corporation retained Jackie Johnson as a Third Party Investigator to work on a Bullying and Harrassment complaint I filed against my supervisor at Hut8. The first question I asked Jackie was if she knew or had worked with my supervisor. She claimed she did know him and that she had worked with him before as well and also claimed to know some of my family members. (To this day, no one in my family knows her) I wasn’t comfortable with her knowing and having working with the person I filing the complainant against. However, she said she was moving forward with the investigation whether I choose to participate or not. This was a conflict of interest and not morally or ethically right. Long story short. She had no evidence to back up her findings and took every single persons word on site over my 14 hand written pages of reasons backing up my complaint. I was on medical leave and in a bad mental state. I had a welfare check done on me. Jackie was not interested in this information. Jackie wanted to give Hut8 (my supervisor) the answers he wanted and get paid. She did not follow correct OH&S standards. She didn’t even know I was on medical leave. It is demoralizing and disconcerting knowing that’s how she runs a business.
