About Hakim Optical - Kildonan Place mall

Hakim Optical began 50 years ago, when Sir Hakimi was grinding lenses for the Canadian wholesale market. He learned his craft as a youth in his native Iran and honed it in subsequent years, grinding lenses in Germany and camera lenses in Switzerland. Attracted by the excitement of retail opportunities, Sir Hakimi began to pass the great deals he gave wholesalers on to the public. This was my 1st time purchasing a pair of glasses and she made the experience easy and seamless, giving me style tips that helped me find a pair that look great on me. If you’re in the market for your 1st pair of glasses or 100th pair, I can’t recommend Jessica enough!

I went into the store not knowing what kind of frame and lenses to buy; the knowledgeable staff helped me pick out the perfect pair for my face shape and lifestyle. I'm also thankful they were so patient with me when I was browsing through their many selection of styles. (I was there for quite some time) They also let me know that they were getting a new shipment of glasses the following week, so I had put aside a few frames on my first visit and I came back to see the new shipment; I really appreciate how helpful and patient they were with me! I would definitely recommend coming to this location in the beautifully renovated section of Kildonan Place, so much to choose from and the staff are just so friendly and awesome!

I entered the store and an employee named jessica told me to go to the other end of the mall to get a face mask otherwise i cant shop in store. nd when i came back to store with a mask she gave a mask from backroom to a customer standing at the store enterance.. I thought what she did means RACISIM.
B	Brown Nguyen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an eye exam there and they got the wrong result, my 2 pairs of glasses makes the shapes squeezed, they asked me to come in do the test again, there are differences between 2 results and the doctor says sorry. They only fix 1 pair and tell me to go home try on couple of weeks if its okay they will make the second. Couple of weeks later they ask me to come in Mon again to get the second pair. Then they sorry for miscommunication the second pair is not ready. I ask can you send it home to me as I dont want to catch a bus and come back and forth 4 times already they said no you will have to pay $20 for that. Very disappointed and wont come back

Merchandise is completely disorganized, you have to go and dig through the drawers looking for "stickers".. I was looking for polarized sunglasses, the associate was not able to help as she didn't know if they had some and where to find it.. She was quite disappointed when I said that I'm looking for a nonprescription sunglasses. She wasn't even slightly trying to help, but actively tried to say "have a good day". Awful experience.. not coming back for sure.

They did such an awesome job making my glasses straight again, and made my day a lot better because I didn’t have luck elsewhere getting an adjustment.
