In my opinion, as a client who received extremely exaggerated and unreasonable high bill. I must say my experience with this law firm was very disappointing and unethical lawyering, a complete waste or incompetence, and some lawyers said one thing but did another. A concern that could have been overcome with a sensible, managed approach.
Hakemi & Ridgedale made me as a client believe I was being represented ethically, but I did not have the experience or the inclination and they did not negotiate every detail of their engagement agreement. This law firm ran up my billing to tens of thousands of dollars with little or no explanation, much less negotiation and by a lawyer who lacked experience
In my humble opinion this law firm is unethical in their billing practice and have gouged me for every penny.
Speaking frankly, one would be best to stay away from Hakemi & Ridgedale.
As a result of their incompetence I not only lost my claim the lawyers in this firm destroyed and compromised my entire litigation
I WOULD BE VERY CAUTIOUS OF DEALING WITH HAKEMI RIDGEDALE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN
STAY AWAY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! THERE ARE OVER 7000 LAWYERS IN LOWER MAINLAND.
I AM CERTAIN YOU WILL FIND AN HONEST LAWYER

I am general counsel for several small corporations and we are a highly regulated industry. I was impressed by his presentation and promptly referred my relatives to him in the Vancouver area. My relatives in Vancouver are high-level businessmen who have car dealerships and other businesses. They said it's been a night and day difference between their old legal representation and the new legal representation. They are very happy with this firm and the fees and the quality of the legal work

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm afraid this law firm's bad reputation is true. I read a lot of 5-star reviews before hiring them and decided to believe them. Unfortunately, I made a big mistake. The negative reviews are 100% true - I had the same experience others did. They are unethical, they will excessively overcharge you any chance they get, and when you complain about the extreme bills you never discussed or approved, they will come after you and make you pay them even if they have to take legal action against you. Outrageous.
