If I could give this place a zero star I would. Worst hair stylist ever. Zero professional talent. The stylist wasn't patient or kind, which makes no sense, since it's a kids salon. I’m expecting that hair stylist should be patient and nice especially with kids but no, it’s the opposite. I didn’t notice my 8 years old was crying until I saw the stylist was pulling off my hair with heir long nails instead of gently brushes with a comb. She didn’t use any products to keep her hair smoothy. When I told to do it in a certain way completely ignored. I told her that we are not happy for her bad attitude. Seriously this place was such a waste and did not make anyone feel good, in fact it made everyone anxious and scared.

Highly recommend this salon for children. They have an excellent choice of colourful, novelty chairs to sit in. Thank you Mashid for making our 2yr old son feel very comfortable and for his lovely haircut!

Absolutely terrible. Not even close to straight at the front. Took volume out on top and left a mullet at the back. Deserves negative rating, 1/5 is too generous.

First time here and had an excellent experience! This was my son’s first haircut (19months) and the stylist, Mahshid, was very efficient and super sweet! Mahshid did such a great job regardless of him turning his head in every direction, that takes some skill! She was very kind and patient with him when he started to get restless, I was impressed. He didn’t cry at all and it was such a fun experience for him, I will definitely come back and see Mahshid :)

Can't speak for the other owner as didn't have much interaction but the Irish girl is an absolute gem. Our daughter really soaked up her lovely calm energy and left with a cute little bob and we left with tips how to avoid the horrible hair brushing run ins everyday. The detangler we bought is worth its weight in gold when it stops the tears like it did for us. Good experience for us thanks!

I took my 21 month old little boy to see Farrah, the owner, for a haircut yesterday. She was wonderful! She listened to exactly what I asked for (not too short, take it slowly, no clippers as he finds them scary). I am so pleased with how it looks ! His previous 3 haircuts have been quite traumatic with tears, fear, and all ended in a very stressful situation for everyone involved. This was totally different. I will DEFINITELY be returning, and I highly recommend Farrah.

This review is for Mahshid - I’m always very happy with the haircuts she does for my son. He has a lot of wavy hair and needs clippers plus scissors, and she is gentle and takes her time, and it looks great. I’ve been taking my son to Hair Loft for about 2.5 years and I will say there is truth in the various reviews here, but I am happy to recommend Mahshid.

Absolutely the worst experience ever!!!! If I could I would give this place a negative star. I took my 5 year old daughter in for her first cut and should have really gone with my gut instinct when it came to the so called stylist Samira. She butchered my 5 year olds hair……we told her we wanted to take 8-10” off to donate her hair to wigs for kids and once she jaggedly cut the ponytail off and took roughy 15 mins to do the cut. During the cut I asked her a few times if she needed to move my daughter to a proper chair as opposed to the pink car S it looked as if the cut wasn’t even. She said it was fine and kept going. Once she was done in a record 15 mins and under I asked her about the unevenness and she said it was fine. I washed it that evening and took pictures so I could call in the morning and address it. She told me that it wasn’t uneven and that she cut it jaggedly - her words not mine in order to keep the length. She refused to have a manager/owner call me and was very rude. I really think this girl may not be a professional stylist as when I took my daughter to a different salon to fix the butchered cut they were shocked and said it looked like at “at home” cut. I am posting pictures so no one makes the mistake of going to this stylist again. It saddens me that you feel the need to lie - the haircut was on August 19th which wasn’t 3 weeks ago and not once did the stylist offer to fix it. She said she saw nothing wrong with it and she wouldn’t issue the refund until I came in person when I clearly stated I lived an hour away. The refund process in itself was made as difficult as possible. That’s great that families have left your establishment happy but they clearly didn’t have the worst inexperienced stylist with attitude. I think the fact that you as an owner can take the time to lie about my review but not take the time to return my calls says a lot about you and the way you run your business.
