★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent years attempting to mask thinning hair on the top of my head. When I started to go grey it became more obvious so I was colouring the roots every few weeks. I was also spending a lot of time styling it trying to make it look good. But the worst was the insecurity I felt knowing that I didn't look my best.I finally turned to the Prosthesis Centre looking for advice.
The staff there were sensitive, caring and knowledgeable. In just a few minutes they fitted me with a partial wig that sits just on the top of my head. The style and colour are perfect. Even my family couldn't tell what was different. I had intended on only wearing it after my roots started showing but I find myself choosing to put it on when I'm in a hurry as well. I can pop out of bed and be on the road in a few minutes feeling confident that I looking my best. Highly recommend these experts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife got her wig styled there, the woman helping us was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about her products and very friendly towards us. My wife had a great deal of fun there and would go back if she gets another wig styled.

The system (wig) I was looking to buy, the owner cannot confirm if they have or don’t have it after months of communication and settling on a price. Communication was not good. Pricing to me seemed high compared to similar products on the market. When coming for my intake appointment, the stylist was new and had never worked on hair systems. (According to what she said)
The good:
The business appeared clean, tidy and kept up with Covid regulations. The staff seemed kind. It’s local, and the only hair system business I could find outside of Toronto.
Overall thoughts:
If you can drive to Toronto I would suggest choosing someone else. If your stuck on distance and willing to spend at least $1500-$2000 plus then I’m sure you will get adequate service, but just go in with a level of caution.

My Wig Consultant Janice was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful re: choosing the perfect fit of wig fir my needs, lifestyle and personality. I ended up buying Janice's 1st suggestion; after trying on 5 wigs. The Wig Boutique has a large selection of wigs from super short to very long. My wig was also altered by Janice on the sewing machine to make sure my wig fit my shaped head. Overall; I was very pleased with my experience and I highly recommend The Wig Boutique to others looking for that perfect Wig.

Janice helped me style and trim and offered lots of useful suggestions. The quality of the piece was better than I expected. I already booked my next trim...highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to thank the staff at the wig boutique in Barrie especially Neva who looked after me! I didn’t purchase my wig at their location and needed my wig serviced! Neva was amazing making sure my wig fitted properly. She took her time in making sure I was well taken care of! She made sure my wig looked great on me! I was very pleased how beautiful it looked when it was returned to me! They have a huge selection of wigs and other accessories for patients going through chemo and other hair loss illnesses. I highly recommend The Wig Boutique!
