★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to learn about roller derby. Junior team practices on Thursday nights at 6 with the adult team Tuesdays and Thursdays after the juniors. Come check them out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with a 5 year old boy to the park attached to the arena. He needed a washroom. Since the arena was open, I went to take him to the washroom so he could poop. Though I could have simply followed the signs and taken him into the washroom, I thought he should learn about respect and ask to use the facility. Was told, quite abruptly, no, that it was a private club and if she let him use the washroom, she'd have to let others. A private club? Don't they have public skating? Letting a child poop themselves! Really? I use to like the arena. My new rating? 0. Well, the site won't let me rate a 0 so I guess I'll have to give it 1 star so I can post this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there for a six-year old's birthday party. The party space is supposed to be rented for two hours. After 45 minutes, a men's ball hockey team comes in and starts playing on the rink. The kids were pushed out to a tiny space at the outside of the rink at the far corner. For the price of the rental, there should not have been other people allowed. Also, when the original queries were made, it was stated that there would be sticks and helmets. The only sticks were adult sticks, and there were only a few kids helmets. Not pleased! We would not repeat that experience, nor would I ever recommend it as a place for kids' parties. Boo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love when reviews say I would have given them 5 stars. The fifth star would have been earned if they had ice.
The city cut funding years ago. It's a wonder that this place is still open. Facilities were clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Who knew that you don't need ice in an arena?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This facility has potential. Perhaps the city, region, and community could find a way to improve the needed TLC this place needs?
It functions best for ball hockey, but also host rollerblading, pickle ball, and has a batting cage outside.
Washrooms and change rooms are functioning, but lack in cleanliness.
