These people were unable to pick up my goods despite daily visits or calling on my part. I was assured each time that the items would be picked up the next day. I was completely forgotten about, so I gave my items to the Salvation Army and Twice as Nice. I was amazed that Salvation Army literally came faster than pizza delivery! We're talking 30 min here. I will never consider donating anything to Restore, irrespective of the store portion their classlessness and incompetence have completely put me off. I will do my part to discourage anyone from using this business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store would not sell an item to me, even though the 24 hour reservation on it had expired 3 days prior. The staff made me stand there while they telephoned the owner of the expired reservation, and then told me that they might still want it and I would not be allowed to purchase it.
The note on the item explicitly states that items not picked up after 24 hours are subject to sale to another buyer, no exceptions. Very poor customer service. There shouldn't have been any question about selling me what I wanted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great selection of home improvement stuff, furniture and office fixtures, if you don't mind kind of digging to find stuff, or washing it after you buy it. Can get pretty good stuff like desks, doors, dressers, etc for $5-$10 usually. WAY cheaper than Salvation Army or Value Village, and much bigger selection too. They don't really seem to clean or fix anything when they get it, which I count as a positive thing because I'm sure it's what helps them be able to keep their prices so low. I'd rather clean something myself than pay extra to have someone else do it, so I like that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3rd time in a row now trying to donate building material. I had approx. 300 sq. ft. laminate floor in mint shape. I was told they only take new in the original box stuff. New in the box? Not sure who is donating that! Sorry Restore I used to love you but I guess it's time to find a new beau to go with. Mabey Sally Anne, Twice as Nice or Teen Challenge
