They make careless sloppy mistakes that shuts down all government payments and closes your CRA account. When you call to have THIER mistakes sorted they are less than helpful and just want you off the phone. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere that actually knows what they are doing. Beyond disappointed with H&R Block. ????

Total charge was low as well about a hundred twenty for my screwed up tax return.. Thank you thank you for all the help. Go in today and be ahead of the crowd or schedule an appointment for ease of mind.

Showed up on time, waited 30 minutes before my accountant took me in (while people who had appointments later than me were served first). Office and waiting area were filthy (covered in people's trash and hair). Was promised taxes would be done by that Wednesday. Got a call on Wednesday saying they needed a bit more time. I called the following Monday to check in, spoke with reception, left a message with my accountant, no response. Called on Tuesday, spoke with reception and left a message, no response. It is now Wednesday, a week and a half since my original appointment, and still, no one has made any effort to get in touch with me, and my taxes are not done. Absolutely horrible service - complete and utter waste of my time. Going to a different accounting firm now.
B	Brandie Victoria on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. My taxes were done with little to no effort on my part. They only issue I've had is with their MasterCard letting unauthorized payments come out of my acct. Even after I got a new card the same unauthorized charges are coming off my card and they are charging me $10 per transaction (even if the transaction is only $3) and won't return my money for 6-8 weeks, until their investigation is complete and only if they rule in my favor, which I was told is unlikely. Yet in the Rights and Regulations for banks, they are not allowed to charge fees to dispute transactions. They also charge 3.95 to send e-transfer and additional 3.95 if you need to cancel the same eTransfer. They don't offer mobile check depodit and charge for having the card are quite costly. Their statements are not clear and difficult to obtain and I've had to wait hours on hold to get in touch with they customer service/support team. And they keep deactivating my account because I make a purchase on Amazon or Google (which I do on a daily basis sometimes) calling it irregular transactions. Yet they allow unauthorized transactions and won't help me from being frauded..

C	Christine Jilek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite a bit of a mixup with our appointment time today (the office moved our time up without telling us), our senior tax pro Cathy T came out of her cubicle pretty quick and spent about a half hour or so reviewing our tax returns. She also reviewed our pensions in detail. Cathy T spoke with us and not ‘to’ us - like someone we have known and trusted for a long time. Her sense of humour didn’t hurt either. We will be back shortly to consult with her about estate planning and more - because as clients of H&R Block, this service and more, are all free.
