L	LeeAnn m on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ they were helpful. but didn't tell me that claiming common law would change my child benefits from date of claim to the end of the year. landing us OWING the govt over $1300. Information would have been nice prior to receiving that bill UPDATE!! They filled out our common law wrong. putting us from date of move in not at the one year mark. The $1300 did not need to be paid. In fact due to their mistake I was shorted for over a year on my child benefit, finding out at the next tax season (with an accountant - See Doug Currie, he fixed everything!) so the gov't had to pay us back a year of child tax PLUS the $1300 that they believed we owed due to H&R block. Never again H&R . .

Its tax season and some people are more complicated then others. We have never had much of an issue. Both my husband and I got instant refunds this year. They called us probably an hour to 1.5 hours later to come get our cheques.
L	Lotus Underground Productions on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst place to go. So glad I pulled our tax info from this place and got a legit accountant that knows what they’re doing. Horrible experience! It was like walking into a woman’s shelter. I was waiting for 20 minutes past my appointment for no reason while these unprofessional woman were gossiping in the corner. None of them are presentable or professional in any way. Maybe in a dive bar? Our accountant wouldn’t break down the numbers nor show me the screen like my previous accountants at H&R. When someone repeatedly over states they’re just trying to “get me the most money,” raised a red flag. She had used a scare tactic on us, fearing my other half into paying. Then she would not return my calls, maybe she didnt get my message? Very unorganized to say the least, or they just don’t give a f@&$? When I pulled my info days later, I got snarky attitude back as they were defensive when I asked a simple confirmation question. By pulling my taxes I gained $600!!! Management should not hire just anyone off the streets.
k	kyle jones on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was quoted over the phone 150$ per year and after meeting in person for an hour was sent a quote by email informing me it will be 300$ per year because I have rental properties. After giving the go ahead to do my taxes I recieved another email saying it's over 500$ per year now. Nothing had changed since being given the 300$ per year quote. I feel like I was being taken advantage of, like i was lied to and that my time was wasted...on top of that, they could care less about my dissatisfaction. 90% of the years I've ever done my taxes they've been done at hr block, I will never again use them because of this experience.
