★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worked out a pre payment plan with them, gave them a payment of $700, appointment day came around and due to life events I wasn't able to make it. They charged me 30$ for missing it. That was no big deal and I had no problem paying that. We set another appointment. Move forward to a week before my appointment. My hubby gets into a accident and we need the extra funds to pay for it. I asked them for a refund and told them about the vehicle and such, the next day I get a call, to come into the salon and that they have a cheque for me. When I get there they explain that they can't refund me my $670 due to the styles not being paid for her time......WHAT TIME she didn't spend a min on my hair!!! I understand it's because she booked 3 hours to do my hair but this was a week before my set appointment!!! They then put a hand written receipt in front of me and without explaining what it is, they ask me to sign it
They said they could do a 150$ in store credit but the rest is going to the salon. I then asked if we could go ahead with our original plan with my hair and they refused!
Not even sure how a salon can get away with this! Definitely never pre paying as well as signing a damn thing next time! I get that the stylist may be on commission but seriously how can they justify taking my money when they didn't even do anything with my hair! To top it all off this was a Christmas gift from my husband ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an excellent experience at GVS with my stylist, Lauryn. Did a great job of making me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns about my previous haircut, and knocked it out of the park when she picked up her tools. All in all, very satisfied, will be returning to her for all of my cuts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited my stylist Lauryn over the weekend. As always the visit was professional, on time and perfect! Lauryn always picks a color that suits my complexion and is always open to anything new I want to try! I would highly recommend her to any of my friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service! They screwed up my appointment time and called me to tell me to not bother coming as they are charging me the no show fee. It was such a huge disappointment to not get my hair done as planned and then having to argue with the lady on the phone. In a way I'm glad I didn't waste my time here but I'm sad my money will be waisted.
