We hired 'GUNN Consultants' after being frustrated to the 'nth' degree with our lack of professional service/maintenance from Thyssen Krupp Elevators. We were having issues with our system that were resulting in expensive call-backs at $400/hr, not to mention a lack of follow up on our monthly maintenance that had been neglected on quite a few occasions. GUNN came in and performed a SUPER COMPREHENSIVE review of our entire system, focusing on everything from elevator timing, to amount of callbacks, to deficiencies, and safety concerns.........GUNN gave us a super clear, 12 page review that spelled out in pretty basic terms how/why we were in our current bad situation. GUNN also attended a follow-up meeting with our strata board, and Thyssen Krupp. This lead to a pretty serious battle/discussion with TK Elevators. Since our report, we have had several of our issues resolved, and there has been a noticed improvement in our level of service. I informed Thyssen that we will be using GUNN as consultants moving forward, any time that we get a suggestion for further maintenance, in order to double-check the need, as well as the appropriate costs for the maintenance. The cost of the report from GUNN was honestly about the same as a 5 hour callout for TK Elevators!#$% - which, in our minds, was money extremely well spent. There are only about 5 or 6 elevator companies in the Lower Mainland, and this has lead to a 'who-cares' attitude from them towards their clients. Service is poor at best, and call-outs and equipment replacement are huge money makers for them all. GUNN is starting to give strata's the ability to fight back, and for that, we are so appreciative. Thank You, GUNN!!!

It was easy to work with GUNN and the overall experience was excellent. Communication was regular and clear and you felt that you were well informed with the project status. We felt confident that the elevator modernization was completed in full in the hands of the elevator consultants and that we did more than without a consultant. Project was delivered on schedule and on budget. Everybody is happy with the end result and the upgraded elevator cab and service. We can definitely recommend Gunn to others who have to upgrade their elevator.

GUNN Consultants were on time, efficient in their inspection & completed their work within the estimated timeframe. They answered my questions with clarity & provided a brief verbal summary of their observations upon request. I look forward to receiving their report.
