GT Church Victoria

Coffee bar!! Lol not the biggest reason but is a friendly and nice touch. A very diverse community and the people were very friendly. There were an abundance of many different ages. Many kids, teenagers, and people were nice to the old and/or disabled. This church interacts with all sorts of ages. This church is welcoming from the moment you step in to the moment you step out. The messages are always great to hear and really do make a difference in your life as they say it will.

Young and robust pastors with a great delivery and bible based messages. Wonderful paise and worship live music team, love it!

GT is like coming home. The services are wonderful, worship is the best! Preschool and nursery are so loved, this is our sanctuary every week ❤

After Just moving to Victoria, my family and I went to GT with one of our friends, the church was super inviting and the music was fantastic! I would say that GT is one of my favorite churches to go to. They also have small groups and other activities to get into communities with other Christians.

Very nice Bible study but women very young. Went here 7 years and no one bothered to try and get to know me. Heard this from many people in apts in community. Church is just too big and people seem to just want to be there an hour and go home

*update April 24 2017* There was a ring around the sun today so I walked over to church and took these two new pics of the front of the church with the cool sun in the back. *update December 24 2017* So, I pulled into Church at 8:34am, and they were hitting the hymes? Then Pastor Andy finished his 3 part series about Emanuel "God With Us". He spoke of Frankenscense and Mir, today was Gold. Pastor Andy spoke how Jesus was a perfect prophet, a perfect priest and a perfect King. It's like lots of stuff is in three when talking about God, hey? Anyways, they had like 6 services today! And I went to two. At their 6pm service, they sang with a brass orchestra and some nice intimate songs. They really do put their best effort forward to bring God to people's minds and hearts. Here's some pics I took when the 6pm service ended. *update Sunday December 10 2017* So, I went to Glad Tidings Church for their Heritage Service. Today, Pastor Andy, who is sitting in the front row in the pic, spoke of Immanuel, meaning God with us. Then he spoke about Frankincense being used to create an aroma in rooms that brings you closer to God. That is just like when I burn sage and sweet grass, the only difference is that when I burn sage and sweet grass, I admit that I'm praying to God and to the spirit world. That's just so awesome how similar we humans are, even from opposite sides of the world, we have the same beliefs in God and the spirit world. Just different words and the refraining of other words. (and yup, that's Pastor Andy in the front row) Sunday, November 26 2017 Last night, before going to sleep, I Google mapped the closest Pentecostal Church to me. Good Tidings Church came up and Pastor Andy had some great reviews. So, I went to their 8:30 service today. I showed up 10 min early and they have a nice big vaulted ceiling. I sat in the second row from the front, so I would have to listen and could not have any quick escape route, if I felt uncomfortable?? I felt welcome from the very moment I walked in the church. The first person to say hi to me was Pastor Ron, he sat in the front row with the other pastors. I guess I just ended up sitting by the big wigs right away, ha ha. Get the stress out of the way, right away. They didn't stress me out at all when talking to me. The had respect and where kind to me. They sang, talked scripture, delivered a great message about reaping and sewing. They care about our local community. I also stayed for their 10:30 service and then they had a party for the first timers to the church, with some chicken wings, and a table full of food for us. It was very thoughtful. Oh yeah, they asked for help putting up Christmas decorations this week, so I signed up to help, cause I have done Carpentry and Scaffolding. And looking at the high ceiling, I think they could use some help. I love helping out when I can. Especially if I know my help will be appreciated. Here's a pic of Pastor Andy and myself today.

This is actually the most horrific church I have ever been to. I started coming here when I decided to get to know Jesus. By the grace of God I somehow didn’t become a satanist because that is definitely who leads this place!! My husband and I came to check it out because we slept in and missed our church so I thought “Maybe without masks it won’t be so bad” and I did like their worship although it was IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a pastor (In over a year of going every Sunday we accidentally talked to Pastor Andy for 2 seconds once) I would write emails to connect in with multiple no reply’s. The majority of people there will be superficially nice to you but won’t actually get to know you. It’s good I learned to not judge God on his followers or this place would have led me straight away from him! So today the music was great. Then pastor lisa started praying for Ukraine….fair….it’s good to pray for everyone but why not the leaders and people of both countries who are being persecuted and suffering??? The answer is you aren’t allowed to pray for Russia cause the news tells you to hate them. Then Kids camp ONLINE?!? That’s literally the worst thing for kids!!! Kids need in person connection without masks and poisonous shots!!! They need hugs and love….not seeing people through a screen where most already spend hours of their reality!!!!! And I know they will have some stupid response of “We we’re just following orders” From who???? God or the government???? Because GOD doesn’t want kids on a computer all day in a FAKE “pandemic”. My husband said coming here was like watching the news but with woke praying. This church‘s saviour is Trudeau or Satan but it sure as heck isn’t Jesus.

I was visiting Victoria and went in with my friends who recently moved there. We went to the evening young adult service. The worship was spirit-filled, full of life, and just so needed. The message was amazing… Pastor Andy nailed it. Many of the young adults came up and talked with me. They were welcoming and nice. I feel that this church has a strong foundation in the Bible and would be a great location for you to attend.
