Hi Everyone! I'm Melanie, owner of Grey Lily Photography.
I’m so happy you’re here and I appreciate you taking a few minutes to get to know more about me!
First let me tell you a little bit about my business life. I have been a photographer for 11 years now. And I have been full time for 6. I left my career as a hairstylist and makeup artist in 2016 to pursue photography full time and I have never looked back. Photography is my true passion in life!
My style as a photographer is often described as moody and romantic. I love laid back couples and families who like to have fun in their sessions. Allowing me to capture those candid and real moments that make for some truly beautiful images. I touch a little more on this later :)
On a personal note, I LOVE animals. I have a huge heart for rescue. My husband and I have 3 rescues in fact. A dog from Mexico (pictured here) named Andi and 2 kitties; Stella & Shiloh.
I love the life I've built with my husband, stepson and our critters. I am a homebody at heart and will choose staying in to watch a movie with the fam over going out, any day of the week!
I love scary movies and true crime shows. I have an addiction to iced coffee and nachos. I love music from the 90's and 2000's the most but will listen (and dance) to almost anything!
