HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Experience with lawyer Manjinder (Manny). Similar experience like the other person that commented. I'm stuck with the previous owners property tax and now he wont answer my emails, texts or my phone calls. Plus he supposed to send me a cheque since August!!! Buying a home should be a happy experience not stressful as you made it .I would not reccomend him at all I would give him minus stars if possible.

I had the most HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this Law firm, particularly with lawyer Manjinder Grewal. I had questions about his competency and professionalism after noticing he would abruptly cut scheduled meetings short because he had to go cut his hair, but I gave benefit of doubt. I retained this firm for closing on a property I just purchased. Several months after the property closing I started receiving tax notices from the city saying I owed thousands in taxes. I thought it had to be a mistake as I had just moved into the property and couldn't possibly owe that much in property taxes in such a short period. I ended up paying over $4000 in back taxes on the property and water bills that the previous owner owed and had never paid. The lawyer did no due diligence in researching the property to see if there were any liens or taxes owing, and did absolutely nothing in protecting me from such situation. Any competent lawyer would not have allowed this deal to close with so many outstanding issues. After several attempts contacting him about the issue I was having, he casually said its OK you purchased title insurance. He gave me a number to Stewart title insurance and said to deal with them myself. I was furious because his incompetency had put me in this unfortunate situation, and the least he could do was take ownership and deal with the issue for me. He did absolutely nothing and advised me that he was retained for the closing only and essentially I would need to deal with the frustrating process of having to deal with Stewart title. I advised him they are asking for documents I have no way of attaining, he ignored me and said he has done what he was retained for and that I need to deal with Stewart title myself. Manjinder Grewal did absolutely nothing to protect me from this situation. Their incompetency has cost me a lot of money, and their lack of accountability and ownership in the matter has been even more shameful. I TRULY REGRET EVER RETAINING THIS FIRM and would advise anyone from doing business with them.

Grewal Law is one the best real estate lawyers I have come across. Dealing with him has been always easy. My friends have dealt with him and they were satisfied as well. Very Professional and amazing lawyer!
