Had a very nice quiet walk on this short trail. Lots of birds and wildflowers.

This is a nice place for a walk, easily accessible, and for photographers, there's an abundance of wildlife around to exercise your shutter button. There is a fairly resident great blue heron that I've managed some decent photos of. Seems like he enjoys showing off for the camera. ?

Great spot for Port Dalhousians (particularly Cole Farm-ers) to walk to for a little downtime with mother nature. At this time of year, the fishing people and the skating people are all outta luck and outta sight, so it's a great location for those of us only interested in a little solitude, maybe a little bird watching. Speaking of which, take a little Tupperware container full of bird seed with you; you may be lucky enough to have a chickadee or three eat out of your hand, or at least off the cement pad under your park bench, of which there are plenty on which to sit and chill (literally) or just figuratively if the sun is shining. It's a great spot to sit and check your email, or text messages, or just work on your mental to-do list for when you get home with your fresh outlook! If only the City would put a walkway down one side of 3rd Street or the other, it wouldn't be quite as dodgy getting from Main St. down to Old Martindale and the park entrance. Enjoy! (Oh, and regardless of the season, please DO put your coffee cup in one of the garbage cans provided; thanks!)

Amazing place.. time to walk and relax here.. quite place but parking lot is very limited, I think there are only 8 spots or so. There is a hige slope when you enter the place so probably is not very accessible for some people. Enjoy

Great place for a tiny beautiful 15 minute covid safe wedding. Topped off with a nice family of swans. Parking is very tight and will require huge excellent driving skills. So try to park closer to the entrance in the parkinglot unless you have a smart for two car.

It's a small park with nice and natural environment. Good for fishing. You can see turtles, frogs, and ducks. Also, there are lots of lotuses.
