Green Cat Renewables is a specialist renewable energy consultancy established in Scotland in December 2004. The business has expanded over time to open four offices across Scotland, and most recently established the Canadian arm of the business in Alberta, Canada. Our experience profile includes energy projects in numerous technologies, including wind, solar, energy storage, hybrid and off-grid, green hydrogen/ammonia and hydro projects.  

The company was established with the aim of driving down  costs associated with the development of renewables projects. We identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce development costs by offering a complete, in-house, consultancy and project management service. We service projects at all development phases and deliver concepts through the entire project life-cycle, from initial conception to commercial operation. Our value driven approach means the development of renewable energy is accessible to a wider range of individuals, businesses and developers than traditionally may have been the case.

Our client base encompasses independent power producers, community groups, First Nation and Metis communities, agricultural businesses, high-energy users, renewable energy developers, private investors, investment banks, lenders and utilities. With our depth of understanding and experience we are able to tailor our services to our Clients’ needs with the appropriate level of detail for the project.
