★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lady cut my daughters hair and gave her an awful cut, some long strands were still visible and the worst part was that she gave my daughter straight short bangs that is way to short when we asked for a side sweep. Basically made it look like my daughter cut her hair herself. Poor poor service and I do not recommend going here and we definitely won't go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A friend and I went in there because they were nervous to come in alone, and the woman who cut their claimed they saw lice eggs, which was in fact, NOT lice eggs after we checked with a professional about it. The hairstylist did a choppy, uneven cut of their hair in a style they didn't ask for, and rushed us out only a couple minutes after we walked in after charging us full price for only about ⅓ of the haircut they'd asked of her. I've had my own bad experiences of being purposefully misgendered as a trans person, and given feminine haircuts despite my request for them not to cut my hair like this. They claim they're professionals who know how to spot things like lice and dandruff, but they clearly weren't.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the Courtenay Great Clips walkin hairdresser. I love the freedom to be able to walk in without a formal appointment. I also like the option of booking with the app a short while before I arrive there. The hairdressers always cut my hair the way I like it. The staff are always courteous and add a personal social touch as I go there regularly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst haircut I have ever seen. The hairdresser barely cut my son's hair. Left the sides as is, did not trim around the ears and left that area so long it looks like my kid has sideburns going half way down his face. The back was trimmed at nearly a 45 degree angle and I am not joking when I say that. No layering, not uniform or straight. I dropped my son off and was in a different store next door. The haircut took about five minutes and my son said the hairdresser appeared to be in a bad mood as he was breathing heavy, tugging at my son's hair and ears. WOW! That guy should not be cutting hair!!!! I will be going in today to demand a full refund. I was so irate yesterday, I felt it best to step back and deal with it the next morning. What a waste of time, money, and now have to find someone who can fix the mess the hairdresser made.
