β β β β β I had lots of fluffy layers but my hair was getting too long so I needed a trim. When I left my hair looked like it had been chopped straight off, at the ends, like no feathering or blending. I asked her to thin it out and she took her βthinning outβ scissors right to the base of my scalp where usually you would want volume, instead of halfway down the hair . At the end one side of my hair was longer than the other, and she had to fix it. I said I usually use a barrel brush and blow dry it for a blow out. She just said ok and blow dried it with her fingers. She didnβt have a barrel brush. It looked like a frizzy mess afterwords. I probably could have done a better job myself. But what do you expect for a 25$ haircut I guess.

β β β β β My experience about this salon is totally bad .the lady who cut my hair was very arrogant,I told her that I want layers cut but she was totally careless and I totally disappointed about my hair cut.I donβt recommend anyone to this salon

β β β β β My husband and 3 year old son went to get their hair cut at this location and we wonβt be back. My husband went first and the hairdresser mentioned that she was still new. My husband guided her through what he would like for his haircut (nothing crazy, typical man haircut) and she started. He mentioned to her that she was missing some patches of hair and she said she would finish it up at the end. The sides of his hair were not at all even, and then she took the shaver to the top of his head and cut it way too short. She then went to the other hair dresser that was working and said she cut the hair too short and asked the other girl to finish. When we asked how she did with kids cuts her response was kids make her panic if they move while she is cutting their hair. The hairdresser that βfixedβ my husbands hair then cut my sons hair which seemed to go fine until we noticed she had nicked his ear and the back of his neck when we got home. We were not offered a discount or even an actual apology for my husbands haircut (buzz cut) and for the 2 haircuts it was still over $50. Not worth it. Stick to Beaners for kids and an actual barber shop for men. Lesson learned.

β β β β β In Alberta you LEGALLY have to have at least 1 licensed person. Interesting that this location has none. I'm not commenting on the people or service. I'm simply putting it out there that there are reasons for laws. Just ask yourself if you want to go to a business that can't be bothered to follow the most basic of laws & cleanliness guidelines.

β β β β β I have been going to the same location for the last ten years or so and never did I come across a hairdresser not knowing what she was doing. Maybe because it is quite simple to cut my hair but I get my beard trim at the same time and I am always happy with the final result. The staff is always friendly and the cost is fair and it is always clean on the inside like the outside of the salon.
