3 kids standing around talking to each other would ask them for shoes in certain sizes and didn't have them, but made no effort to help me find the shoe I would want or ask me questions to point me in the right direction for a shoe in my size that would be similar to what I originally wanted. Like pulling teeth.

Over a year ago, February 14, 2013 I stepped foot into Gravitypope, a favourite store of mine! I was looking for a simple dress for my 2nd Year Anniversary which was that day! I found a beautiful T by Alexander Wang dress that was perfect for our date to the Muttart Conservatory, where we married. I know I should have given a review sooner but we all know how amazing Gravitypope is! Beautiful trendy style staples from Fortnight Label Lingerie, Forget Me Not Scarves to Aesop Skin Care. All at affordable prices. I LOVE GRAVITYPOPE TAILORED GOODS!

Went in here looking for jeans today. Good selection but what stood out was service. Nicholas (i think?) was very helpful as well as quick with his service. He helped me try on different sizes and different cuts from different brands. He explained the differences in weight, finish and fit for each brand/cut and was very patient as I tried on about 10 pairs as jeans. He wasnt pushy either and was just genuine about his advice. 5 stars!

I have never reviewed an establishment before as quite frankly I have never had a reason to. My granddaughter wanted a jacket from here for her birthday that I came in to purchase, but decided leaving there, this passed weekend. Upon entering, I was greeted very politely by a young man, who did not bother me anymore whilst I continued my shopping. In fact, he told me to come to him if i had any further inquiries (I believe his name started with a D? Potentially David?). As I browsed further, I was approached by a women (if I heard correctly, her name is Aimee) that not only approached me in a robust, intense manner but after insisting I was browsing she continued to follow me around the store watching me whilst I admired the clothing. Each time she spoke to me during this encounter, she used degrading language such as "dear," "love," and "hon" which made me feel uncomfortable, striking me with the realization that the stranger that is speaking to me has decided to not only dismiss me, but she has done so with just one swift word. Incredibly condescending and demeaning treatment in this store. I will not be returning, she is NOT a very welcoming person! She wanted a sale, and you can tell that her customer relation skills are very minimal. The management here needs to communicate to her about a) not following customers around (that made me feel like a criminal when I have never stolen anything before in my life!) and b) using condescending language alongside having a belittling attitude!

Went to Gravity Pope Tailored goods, there were two young ladies working, who seemed more interested in swapping recipes with each other behind the counter as I struggled to find my size in a pair of jeans right in front of them. The only time they showed any interest in helping me was when I was heading to the change room and then I was forgotten about. The size I picked was to small and no one came back to check and see if I needed any help. Needless to say I left empty handed.

This has nothing to do with the staff that work there, I’m sure they’re all great. This is about the owner and the tailor they use. So over priced they sell expensive brands but the quality of the clothes is horrible. If you’re looking for jeans anyways. Just gonna stick with the Levi’s store from now on. Their tailor is whack too so use your own and give the receipt. It’s more work but your clothes won’t look like trash. Took a pair of pants I bought there to get fixed they took it to their tailor and it came back looking worse than they went in. I was told I would have to pay to get them fixed again the way I would like it. Again this has nothing to do with the person I was speaking with she was just doing her job. But to the person that owns this store…. Stick to shoes you have no business in the β€œtailored goods” community
