She was extremely disappointed. I wonder if she could get a refund. I think it's the stores responsibility to notify tourists that customs may take their purchase. If there is a sign, it needs to be bigger.

You're entitled to complain about a price, but to give a shop a low rating based on price hurts actual small business owners. My sister and I happened to pass by this shop and decided to check it out. It's different, interesting and unique. What you're paying for is quality and craftsmanship. The lady in the shop was extremely nice and helpful. She answered all our questions and left us alone to browse. I dislike having someone try to shove products down your throat. This was not the case. The display of the brooms were also unique in the aspect that it was visually curated like a touch and feel exhibit. It's a great shop to stop by if you are interested in stellar craftsmanship.
