I am not new to accounting firms so continued to be appalled at the sloppiness of the handling of my file, and downright disregard to responding in a timely fashion. From initial contact to a date where I was asked to sign a letter of engagement was TWO MONTHS, after I had repeatedly asked if I could give the firm a retainer so work could commence. I was hoping to write directly to a partner in the firm, but alas only to discover I WAS dealing with a partner.
