Great CHURCH, the music is lively and the preaching is good. It’s the people in the church that make it bad. The elders are rude and think they can talk to anyone in any which way. The church goers (not all of them, but majority) are FULL of drama. You’d think these β€œadults” would actually act like adults but they act like they are in high school! I had been going to this church since I was a small child and I always had hopes of raising my future children up in that church, but not anymore. I’ve seen so many people/families leave from this church due to drama & cliques. Everyone gossips and acts holier than thou but has so much bs in their closet if they were to be exposed they’d go into hiding for a while. If you do visit the church say your hellos but don’t befriend anyone. Keep it strictly about GOD because once you fall into the social part of the church it becomes so catty and unprofessional.

For a religious person, for someone into warm celebration, I mean clap hands, and lively rejoicing in "The Lord", I think Grant African Methodist church deserve a 5 star. For this place, it is not about the building but the community. From what I saw there, there is no way you can call asleep in this church. The songs and preaching are live and great. Apart from that, that community is involved in helping homeless people. They offer food. Moreover, they seem to always have something going on (events) every Sunday in the basement after church. Once you visit Toronto, you can take a look and verify my review. Thanks!
