Granite Worx - Calgary

Granite Worx (Calgary) installed quartz in our newly renovated kitchen. First note, if you go to Lowes or Rona for your countertop, you will still end up at Granite Worx. The final product has just barely met our expectations, and the experience as a whole was the most disappointing thing in our entire kitchen renovation. Specifically, I found the Production Manager difficult to deal with; having to defend myself and our concerns rather than being reassure they were legitimate. Pre-install, we got a call thanksgiving Saturday that the product we paid for (and Granite Worx had already been to our house to template for), was out of stock. In order to still have our original install date the following week, and keeping in mind we had no sink or counter at the time, we rescheduled our Thanksgiving Saturday plans to run around Calgary trying to find another product we liked. We found one and relayed the message back to Granite Worx. The following Tuesday I personally had to call Granite Worx myself (no they did not call me) to find out that they were able to “Squeeze” (their words) our order into the original product after all. We received not a single apology from Granite Worx after ruining my family’s Thanksgiving Saturday. Following the install I had to battle the production manager over a few concerns we had. In the end, they sent a tech out to resolve most of the concerns and I am only left with one odd colored spot I can live with (more a Caesarstone manufacturing defect) and a small dip/gouge in the bottom end of our countertop that hopefully only I will be able to notice. I would not recommend this place based mainly on the lack of customer respect and the unnecessary stress. Again, be careful because they hold the Rona and Lowes contracts in Calgary. There are plenty of other great Quartz installers in Calgary whom provided me reasonable quotes and I am certain would value you and your time more respectfully. Adding new countertops to your home should go a lot smoother than our experience with Granite Worx.

Granite Worx was very easy to work with. Quote from Maureen came through very quick, pricing was better than two other places i checked, and the install was completed quickly but efficiently - really had a pleasant and easy experience here. Their selection is also one of the better ones i saw!

Granite Worx installed granite countertops in my kitchen. After installment countertops were getting dark stains if water drops on it. I contacted Pino, who was very rude and unprofessional, dismissing my complain he said : "...we sealed your countertops with the best sealant and it is impossible to have water stains !!!!!! I had to call and pay the other granite company to remedy Granite Worx poor job ! Granite Worx people have no respect for their customers especially Pino, they do very poor job , and do nor take responsibility for their work done. Money grabbers ! Will never use this company again !!!!!!

Granite Worx has been the best part of our renovations. Excellent, professional staff that are truly a dream to deal with. Answered all our questions and gave us excellent advice... They are amazing. They were a subcontractor of our project and they saved the day (and saved us money) more times than I can count... They stepped up when our main contact left us hanging with many aspects of the kitchen. I whole heartedly recommend Granite Worx and their incredible staff! The installers were absolute gentlemen and a pleasure to have in my home! Plus they offer amazing 15 year DuPont sealant for care free maintenance! So important with a 5 year old! Now stop reading reviews and hire Granite Worx, you won't be disappointed! Lol! I hope your experience is as great as our family's!

I just wanted to take the time to say how impressed I was with this company. I stopped in one day just to browse and dealt with a young Lady named Victoria who was so helpful and knowledgeable. Could answer all my questions and reassure me of the process and her teams many years experience. No pressure at all and after I left was so diligent and quick to answer my emails even on weekend when I know Graniteworx is closed. Everything went seamlessly with our measure and then install. I have recommend this company to friends, and will absolutely go back for any future projects.

We LOVED working with this company and would definitely recommend them to anyone. I was pleasantly impressed with how many different options they had in our price range. I was able to find a quartz countertop that I really liked and the employees did everything they said they would, in the timeframe they said they'd do it in (a day early, actually)! The installers were meticulous and professional and I was so impressed with how clean they left the worksite after--I think my house was cleaner than before they arrived! Overall, a great experience!

Granite Worx were awesome to work with. Remodelling our kitchen was a great experience because of their expertise. They made the templating and install of counters so easy and painless. We'll definitely be coming back when it's time to do our bathrooms.

We had a great experience with Granite Worx - we replaced our kitchen counters and backsplash with them. We looked at several other companies, prior to choosing Granite Worx and I am very happy we did. There were many affordable options for quartz and they hands down had the best customer service of any of the granite/stone companies we visited. The process was easy, demo and install were quick and the end result is beautiful. I would highly recommend them!
