★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the more extensive walks on Pender Island, you can drive to the end of the road, park and walk down to the large beach. There you can admire the views of the other Gulf Islands and walk to the west along the shore and do some beachcombing and explore the rocks and tidepools. The hike will take you up some well demarcated trails up an escarpment and back down through interesting rock formations and onto more rock beaches. The water is spectacularly clear all around the island at this time of year, and you can look deep into the crystal clear water for quite a ways. Not really wading weather as the water is icy cold and the air temp likewise 5C and cloudy/windy, but a typical maritime experience, and as a Nova Scotian maritimer; i can appreciate this. Kids had a great time finding rocks and looking for crabs and finding kelp washed up on shore. Would come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely spot for a quiet picnic, with space for cars & a rack for bikes! Pebble beach provides warmth & comfort resting against a log or rock, as you can watch otters & seals foraging for tiny fish swimming about. With Mount Baker as a backdrop, and the ocean view before you, it's a magical place to relax, unwind, and breathe in the salty, sea air. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park is at the southernmost tip of South Pender. The scenery is very beautiful. There is a lighthouse. Sitting next to the lighthouse, you can enjoy the scenery of countless islands in South Bay. The beach is very clean and there is a wild table. There is a lot of sunshine, and it is a good place to sit on the beach and watch the sunrise and sunset in summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scenic views of the east shore of pender island. Magical walk along the hillside and the beach line. Great spot for pictures and whale sightings!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little nook at the bottom tip of Pender island. Was not busy at all. There are trails that people can hike to see the most amazing picturesque view of the islands nearby. Came across this by mistake, made a wrong turn and ended up here. What a wonderful place. Make sure to bring water on a hot day.
