★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive sandstone mansion built in 1913. It served as the residence for the lieutenant governor for 25 years. In 1966 it was established as a centre for important state functions. This is a wonderful building. I would recommend coming here. To enjoy its beautiful setting and the other buildings and art installations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another great place to visit during the summer with our kids. There is plenty of green space for the. To run around, as well as educational things to peak their interest and public art that we all appreciate.
We have yet to take the free tour inside the building as we are waiting for our youngest to be just a little bit older.
The architecture of this building is amazing from the outside and I can only assume that the inside is just as good, if not better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The government house is on the old museum grounds. It's still well maintained and is some beautiful architecture. You can walk around the grounds freely and see some old statues, and cultural exhibits

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Former lieutenant governors residence in Alberta. Today a beautiful grounds over looking the river valley. The former Royal Slberta .useum is there too. Beautiful spot to sit and enjoy a quiet moment. I hope they are able to preserve the site. Also lovely for wedding photos. If you visit Edmonton I recommend a walk around here. In the historic Glenora neighborhood.
