★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My visit to p0s 1e0 post office was less than perfect but I did manage to buy the stamp! I arrived at 11:30. There were 4 cars in the parking and people were in line. The truck delivery guy was unloading packages from his SUV into the tiny office. The p.o. attendant was announcing to the customers that we would all have to come back later because they were overwhelmed at the moment. Because I had walked 3 miles to get there and because I only needed to buy a stamp, I told the attendant that I would wait. After about 15 min I was in. Then the phone rang. Another 4 minutes I waited while what sounded like a personal phone call was completed. Then I stood on my tiptoes to reach across the mountain of packages to pay for the stamp. 24 min with 6 minutes to spare before they close for lunch.
