If you are looking for a week of skiing technical, expert terrain - steeps, chutes, long runs - this is not the place for you. The lodge is great, food is great, great wines and drinks. The only problem was the skiing - they run a Bell 212 helicopter and so out of 10 people you can only go on terrain or move as fast as the worst skier in the group. The guides will try to shuffle the groups around at lunch or throughout the week based on ability level, but prepare to spend a lot of time standing around waiting for slower skiers to catch up.
When I booked I was told that everyone on the trip was an expert skier. We had folks in the group who had never skied powder. We sometimes spent 15 minutes standing and waiting at each collection point for slow skiers to catch up. Over the course of a week, frustrating...
Overall, it was a relaxing vacation with some decent skiing, but I would never go on a CMH trip again. You can spend half as much at Revelstoke, log 3 times the vert and you can go at your own pace (and they have internet and cell service!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ what can I say, located in the most beautiful province on earth ! Easy to get to, lodge and grounds kept pristine, all workers are top notch and the food is always to die for. Make it a stop once at least in your lifetime !
