S	Sharon Little on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely resort. It's a small village in a well hidden bay with only one narrow entrance. The resort has recently been sold to a First Nations band, the staff is in the dark about what it's future will be. It's my hope they will continue in the same vein as the previous owner.
D	David Drummond on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normally don’t review…came into the harbour on our rented boat with my young family and radioed to get a slip for under an hour to get some food etc. We were turned away saying there was no space and that “they were full tonight”. I repeated that we were a small boat and just wanted to reprovision. We were again denied short term moorage. Very poor. In addition, the radio conversation previous to ours was eyebrow raising… the radio operator at gorge harbour seemed to enjoy his power. Especially hiding behind a radio…very disappointing that this is acceptable on the bc coast now.

Not so Good : Store closed at around 530 we think , restaurant not opened at all and no where to get change after 530 for laundry or showers , no one let us know . Pricey for what you get . Pool was cold we guess not heated
l	lisa wanke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome food at the float house but the waitress was unwelcoming. A crew of thirteen walk in with reservations and the waitress couldnt get rid of us quick enough. Wouldnt sell certain drinks because she didnt want to make them. Always run out of fish or the special. Their burgers are good. Unfortunately we wont go back and it was at least $1000 bill everytime. Cuts people off of alcohol then sells them a bottle??‍♀️??‍♀️
J	Jon Fun couple on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ stayed a weekend with friends , for a get away . The accomodation was suitable but not great , the part that made visit bad was a horrible smell of sewer the entire time we were there. When we asked staff they said they were working on it , next day me and my wife saw sewage pumping onto ground and let staff know , they said they were busy but would try and get to it . Problem never did get fixed while we were there and the smell took 2 days to leave our noses after we left . Added We have visited several times before but always by boat, we thought since our kids and others swim in the ocean the business would be concerned about raw sewage going into the ocean but it appears it does not in this case
M	Mike Beard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've made it to Cortes Island and , by far, the best marina. The marina is well maintained, the grounds immaculate, and everyone is extremely nice. There's not much they don't sell in the small on-site store. There's a rack with fresh baked local bread. The best focaccia bread I've eaten. We're captured here for several nights with the wind and rain. Not complaining. Diesel fuel is cheaper than Nanaimo. Didn't see that one coming.

Best decision ever. we'll equipped and comfortable and clean. it's so beautiful up there. don't want to say too much don't want so many people going up I won't be able to rent a spot any more!
