โ โ โ โ โ Let's start by saying that this place is flanked by two substantially better options for the same type of food. If that's still not enough incentive to pass on giving Golden Rice Bowl your money, maybe take a look at the photo I've included. That's a piece of steel wool that was mixed into my noodles. If you like mouth abrasions, bad food, and being shorted on your order (went for 6 PM deal, lady behind the counter only let me pick 3 items even though the deal said 4 items plus rice or noodle) Golden Rice Bowl is the place to be.
If you have self-respect and want a decent meal, literally anywhere else in Yaohan is better.

โ โ โ โ โ It is funny because the 3 stores on this side are almost identical in offerings. They have the same price on combos so quite reasonable but just minor variations in dishes. Lots of selection here and they have noodle and rice. Staff are friendly if brusque during rush periods. They also liquidate food near the end of the evening. Transit is available from the nearby Aberdeen station or the bus stops on cambie or number 3 rd.

โ โ โ โ โ Food isn't that fresh, we bought takeout and got upset stomachs the next day. The only time I would eat here is if I had no other options nearby or the other stands were messed up.
Every dish was extremely oily and left behind a brown residue, it just didn't seem like fresh oil. Yes they do have a deal at the end of the day but I've eaten here enough times to say its not worth it. Either $16 for 4 set dishes (has to have a vegetable) or $18 for 3 dishes of your choice (no vegetable needed). I don't expect too much from food court food its just there to fill you up.

โ โ โ โ โ Ordered 3 topping with rice. My goodness the ginger chicken was gamey tasting. The Lo Bak with beef was extremely chewy and the broccoli was over cooked. $13 down the drain as the food was disgusting.
I couldn't finish it and left half a plate uneaten. Food at the Yaohan has sunk rock bottom and food is gross and overpriced.
I won't be coming here anytime soon.
Anyone who ranks the food in this area 3 or more stars are use to very low quality food.
The only thing decent in this mall are the bubble tea shops.

Unfortunately the food was cold - warm.
Broccoli - cold and oily
Eggplant - warm, oily and spots of the food had concentrated salt patches.
Tofu - cold and oily.
The hot and sour soup had excessive vinegar...
The only good thing was the fried rice. Chow fan.
Food should always be hot to warm.. never served cold...

Portions are big compared to the Chinese foods stalls at Landsdowne & Richmond Centre. They have a $2.50 drink deal with Fresh Element at the same food court.
21 item selections from vegetables to seafood. Cash only.

โ โ โ โ โ There are three identical food stalls selling similarly food items however I decided to try Golden Rice Bowl. I got fried rice with 2 toppings (beancurd and tofu with mushroom). It came with a complimentary soup which was sweet and sour soup. Food portion was good and I like my tofu. The soup itself was not too bad, I feel like I can cook better.
