Covid isn’t a joke...building a fence in the back to hide behind and ignore Covid rules is the same as trying to hide your sin :/ Sad to say I Won’t be bringing my kids here. I was excited to go considering the good I had heard about it from friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Golden Plains Baptist Church is a place where I would love for my children to grow up in. The pastor preaches the sound doctrine of the Bible. The music is refreshing and the church members are friendly and hospitable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am from out of town and visited with a friend, I was shocked by how almost un-welcoming this church and it's members are. To me it seemed like the members care more about gossiping and putting people down then loving each other as Christ loves us. There are also hundreds of unspoken "rules" of the church, I felt judged as a newcomer which definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not attend with her again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, I went to check out this place due to a relative of mine being in therapy because of the twisted judgement that the members of this church have. My relative has always had a strong faith, one of which I have admired. However, since the start of their attendance at this church they have had their mental health take a turn for the worse. From what I've read in the bible, albeit limited, it was my understanding that Christ called us to be like Him, not to be how these people in a church tell us we should be. I tried to go during COVID but when I saw they were not abiding by any of the COVID regulations I did not feel comfortable and excused myself. I wouldn't even bother leaving a review but the current 4 stars is quite misleading. I hope all you of faith don't get caught in this gossip and judgment 'cult'ure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been a member at Golden Plains for over 20 years. Leadership is excellent. Great to come to a church which still preaches truth from the King James Bible. Great people attend here who sincerely desire that the gospel be sent throughout the whole world. Satisfying & wholesome hymn-singing.
